About LHEF

The La Honda Educational Foundation (LHEF) was founded in 1991 by a group of parents who wanted to provide more services to La Honda Elementary school than state funding would allow. LHEF is a 501(c)3, all-volunteer organization so all the money we raise goes directly to our schools.

During the 2007-08 school year LHEF pledged to the La Honda Pescadero Unified School District the cost of a classroom aide.

LHEF is also funding the music program and the adopt-a-watershed project. We have several fundraisers throughout the year, but mostly we count on parents and community members for support.

LHEF meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the library at La Honda Elementary School.
