About LHEF

The La Honda Educational Foundation (LHEF) was founded in 1991 by a group of parents who wanted to provide more services to La Honda Elementary school than state funding would allow. LHEF is a 501(c)3, all-volunteer organization so all the money we raise goes directly to our schools.

LHEF is also funding the music program. We have several fundraisers throughout the year, but mostly we count on parents and community members for support.

LHEF meets once a month, alternating between the first Wednesday of the month at 8:45 a.m. in the library and the first Thursday of the month at 6:30p.m. at Sullivan's Restaurant.
