LHEF Music Program

The LHEF music program was started in 1998 and is available to all children at La Honda Elementary. In the 2007-08 school year, the District implemented a vocal and instrumental music program under the direction of Patti Julin. LHEF has contributed toward the purchase of instruments for this program.

Research has shown that music training is superior to computer instruction in enhancing children's abstract reasoning skills, the skills necessary for learning math and science.
